“Botanical Blooms” challenge, day 3 (with tutorial)

Welcome to day 3 of my Botanical blooms challenge!

Today’s card is a recessed window card. I made my own dsp for the front of this card using “Botanical Blooms” stamp set. I used Cajun craze, hello honey, old olive and mossy meadow for the flowers and leaves. The greeting on the front and insert are from the “Birthday blooms” stamp set. For the insert I made another border using the botanical gardens dsp from the left over strip from card 1.

This is a simple card  to make, you can do all your cutting and scoring on you stampin trimmer.

Instructions for card are below

Card Dimensions:

Card: 10 3/4 x 5 1/4 in

score @ 5 1/4 & 5 1/2 in

line up card in trimmer and score in @ 1in on all sides, repeat @ 1 1/4 in on all sides

Cuut from the outer score line, from corner to corner, fold in.

cut a piece of card @ 3 1/4 x 3 1/4in, this will be your centre section.

if you want to cover front with dsp stick to front before scoring and cutting.
