Punch art Nutcracker using “Stampin up ” punches

It just had to be done!!!!!!
How cute is this? After I finished “punch art santa” I knew I had to make a Nutcracker and I am very pleased with the outcome.  The main body of this is mainly made up of ovals plus circle’s and hearts, with a few extra thrown in for good measure.

As yet I still have to make a card base for this little fellow to go on , the  design will have to be slightly different due to the fact he is a lot taller than santa.

And what do you think of  Rudolf?

Isn’t he just super cool, look at his antlers I used the tree builder punch to make them! Aren’t they great! I think the grandchildren are going to just love them.

Posing santa using stampin up punches

I do like a funny card! And you can’t get better than an interactive card 🙂
I love punch art and haven’t made anything in ages , so when I was having a tidy up ( spare craft cupboard ) I came across a mini santa that I had made years ago, it was a place setting card and was smaller,  so it got me thinking!

So here is my completed card, the card base is a small step card

Base: 5 1/2in x 11 in
Measure 1in up and 1 in in on both sides, cut between 1in & 6 1/2in
Score in the center @ 51/2in
Score on outside @ 1in, 2in and 6 1/2 in

Simple card but works great for this little santa. If you look carefully you can see he’s made from ovals, circle’s and hearts.

Thanks for popping by, if you would like a diagram on what to use to make this little guy, email me your email address and I will send them to you.

Briefcase for the boy’s, using stampin up products

Oh dear!!!! Have done it again 😦 I have been neglecting my blog.
Summer time is a very busy time of the year for us. We go to a lot of military shows during July and August and however much I love crafting it is just not practical to take with me, so for one of our trips I’m away for 10 days!!!! And no sooner are we back we are off again.
Anyway, I thought I would make something for the boy’s,  I love making male cards but I wanted something different, so I  decided to make a briefcase to put the cards, envelopes and tags into.

I used guy greetings for the cards, I kept them simple as I really want the case to stand out.

Thanks for popping by, come back soon for the tutorial
