4 drawer easel box

3d projects are my favourite to make, I like getting my teeth into something challenging. Making drawers are so easy to make, you can make big or small, thin or wide, whatever takes your fancy really, you can do 1 high or several high. For this box one level was all that I wantedto use. Having the easel top gives you scope to decorate and embellish as much as you want, this box was for a 70th birthday, so I chose to use flowers and swirls, and not forgetting to add a beautiful buttterfly to give it a finishing touch. dsp used is close to my heart, these colours are soooo beautiful. I also used Stampin up flower punches to make the gorgeous flowers (love making flowers) and not forgetting the Butterfly thinlets die’s, I used a ink nib fo the butterflies body, just adds a finishing touch. To make this box you will need the following: 2 – 6in x 6in card 1 – 6in x 12in card (easel top, score @ 3in & 6in) 4 – 3 1/2in x 8in (sleeves, score @ 1in, 3 1/2in, 4 1/2in & 7in. glue ends together to form a sleeve) 4 – 4 3/8in x 5 3/8in (drawers, score @ 1in on all sides once you have made your drawers and sleeves (add brad to drawer before making up) glue one sleeve to each side of the 6in x 6in card (look at main picture), then you will need to glue the other 6in x 6in piece and stick to the top of the sleeves, you will now have a stable base to adhere your easel top to. Decorate to your liking.
