Every now and then I like to make something that is really special!!! This came to me when I had to make something for a friend…..and I always like to add that little extra to it.
This book is made with my favourite papers “Modern Medley”…..yes…I know it’s retired but while it’s still sitting on my shelf I will use it.
Here are just a few of the pages that I made for the inside….and as usual…. I forgot to take more.
I think I was so busy writting instructions and taking Pictures of each step that I completely forgot to take pictures of all the inside….maybe I will have to ask my friend if I could borrow it to take extra so I can show you all.
Did you know we only have a month left of sale-a-bration 😦
But the good news is….if you sign up to Stampin up during Sale-a-bration you will be able to choose 2 free products as extras from the leaflet…..WOW!!!! Sign up HERE and you will recieve one of these books, plus, the instructions for you to use in a workshop, how great is that.

Just a quick post today! In class today we had a lot of fun playing with shaving foam…..yes you heard right!!! shaving foam.
This technique makes a lovely marble effect background and it is so easy to do. Layer a small amount of foam in to a flat tub, smooth it out with a spatula or something similar, add a few drops of your favourite inks (ink refillers are the best) over the foam, i used 3 colours, you can use as many or as few as you want, once you have done that get a skewer and mix the colours up, by joining up, from one colour to the next, when you are happy with the effect you want place your card (gloss card) gloss side down onto the foam, press gently down. When you lift the card off carefully remove what’s on the card with your spatula……voila it’s done.
Now place a second piece on to the foam, you will get a lighter card. You can use the foam a couple more times before it gets to mucky.
I used tesco savers shaving foam, it was only 26p, so very cheap to make a beautiful background paper for your card.
Give it a go and see what yours looks like.

The other day I thought it was about time I caught up with my scrap booking. Card making has taken over my crafting time of late and all those beautiful photo’s have just been sitting in my albums patiently waiting for me to make them into stunning pages…ok….into what i call stunning pages.
The papers I used for this page are from Close to my heart Sarita, arn’t they just beautiful, I love the bold, bright colour’s of this set.
I have seen so many lovely pages recently on scrapbooking blogs that I just had to dig some photo’s out.
This photo of myself, my husband and our gorgeous grandson, was taken in 2009, it was our last night of our holiday in Turkey and although I have nearly completed this album, it has sat in the cupboard for a few years until now, I have now promised myself I will get this finished this month…..that’s 17 days, so watch this space, let’s see if I can do this.
Thanks for stopping by.

It’s been along week for me, even when i’m ill I still manage to get in my craft room, but this week, no. I can safely say this flu knocked me for 6, even lifting my head off the pillow was just too much for me, and crafting was out the window. So on Tuesday when I started to feel a bit normal I got stuck in….love my craft room and missed it soooo much.
Anyway on to today’s project…. for this I did a fancy fold card, not sure really what to call it, so let’s stick with that. The card base is 6in x 11 1/4 in…..I made a couple of other sizes but needed it to be smaller so I could use the “Stacked with love” paper stack…..I love these packs, they are so handy to store.
Using basic black for the card base really makes these paper’s pop out, I also used the new heart confetti border punch for all the little hearts, so cute.
For the love you I used the retired Expressions thinlits dies and the new Hello you thinlits dies
Thanks for stopping by, any questions on this card don’t hesitate to ask. Tracy
