“Evergreen Pivot die” spring card

Have you seen this die yet? I spotted it in early December and fell in love with it, but me being me has to search round to get it at a good price…so…when I ordered it I didn’t realise it was going to come all the way from America, anyway after waiting weeks for it to come I didn’t really want to wait until next Christmas to make a card with it…so, I decided to use it making a spring card.

It didn’t exactly come out how I imagined it, but then when using a die that you would use for a Christmas card who know’s what it’s going to turn out like.

After making this card I thought I would share it with Karen Burniston….and guess what she liked it….so with sharing this card with you, I want you all, to use your dies and punches for something different.

“Wetlands” scenic card

wetlands pop up (1)

Now I love a scenic card, and this stamp set is one of the best ones you can use.

For this card I chose to make a pop up card, I have made a few of these over the weekend, but I think this has to be my favourite one of them all, mainly because I adapted it so I could do a landscape scene, so the base of this card is 6 1/2in wide.

wetlands (2)

This card is a 6 x 4in card, I was hoping to make a flat card…but…clumsy me dropped the block that had the greeting on …which had already been inked onto the corner of the card, so, I had to cover it up, and as I say to all my crafting friends you can never make a mistake because it can always be covered up, and who’s to know…unless you told them.

“New Look”

Have been having a play today with my blog, although have now been blogging for 10 months,I still feel that I am new to all this technology, and believe me I do struggle. I have been very lucky that within my Stampin up pyramid, “Stampin Stars” there is this wonderful demo that has helped me greatly in understanding widgets and url’s, so a big thank you to Lesley Lendon for all your help in the past in getting me first set up, which has enabled me to take a leap today and change the appearance on my blog……and yes have tried all the links…..and…YES…they do work….phewwww……..

So while I am here today, I thought I would show you another card that I have made for a class this week, the dsp is retired, but, I love the colours. This is a slider card and I made it using ribbon instead of a bag that I have tried in the past and it works better and….yes….I have used the Lotus Blossom stamp again on the inside of the card….did you know I love this stamp set 🙂

Thanks for stopping by today, Tracy
