It’s been a hectic couple of weeks since the regional event at Telford and its taken me this long to get swaps photographed.
So today I am going to show just a few that I really loved, I loved them all but don’t want to bore you too much
Isn’t this cute I received this from Tracy Knight, just love it
Love these peg fridge magnets from Lorna Normandale. would love to put on my fridge but with 4 grandchildren I don’t think they will be there long
I was so pleased to get this swap love love love these colours. Thanks Angie Benny for the swap

I have over 60 swaps and do not want to bore you with them all, but I will be using some of the designs shortly as I have set myself a challenge to use up all my scraps if that is ever possible.

Wow….feels like ages since I posted anything…..that’s not because I haven’t had anything to show you….it’s because I couldn’t show otherwise everyone would have seen their cards before I gave it to them.
But now my son & Daughter’s birthday are over I can now showcase their cards that I made for them.
Firstly I had a play with different styles…wanted something different so I came up with this…..for my Son
Do you like???? very different from what I normally make, but, I love these colours (more mustard, Basic Black, Smokey slate). I used a few of my new pieces to decorate this card, Chevron punch, banner framelet dies and banner punch, ohhh not forgetting my hexagon punch, love it!!!.
For my Daughters card I used a similar design and used one of my favourite colours, Raspberry Ripple, this with smokey slate looks gorgeous. I kept the card plain as didn’t want to over do it as the dsp was patterned, so with 3 flower shop flowers in the corner and the butterfly to the side it finishes it quite nicely.
And thanks to Sam from Pootles I made these gift boxes as well to go with the card, and in the corner is the card Olivia made she did all the stampin on her own, and there she is holding her paper she just stamped
My grandaughter loved these so we had to go and buy special presents to go in them, you just can’t say no to Olivia, I think it is the smile she gives, just have to give in.

Wow what a busy few days. Last weekend I went to the Regional training day at Telford….was so excited, met so many new demonstrators who i am hoping will become stampin friends.
It was such a long day, we left Clacton at 5am and picked Brenda up on route, the journey itself was reasonably a good drive, no hold ups for a change.
I took 60 swaps with me and managed to get 60 swaps back….and I must say there are some really gorgeous ones there, cant wait to have a play at making some…. it’s brilliant to see so much creativity in one spot 🙂
This is a picture of the swap I made, I think it’s so cute, it measures 2 1/2in x 2 1/2in and you can make 9 out of a 12 x 12 piece of DSP.
I am now in the process of convincing hubby to go for a trip to Brussels in October for Convention 2014….fingers crossed..and legs too..:)
On to my recent makes: May is a very busy month for Birthdays in my family, my Grandaughter was 3 on the 20th of this month and all the cards I made for her were all the things she loves
Horses and Pretty dresses as she calls them.
And here she is with her favorite things (at my house) I think she may have liked her big Sylvanian Family hotel that Mummy got her as her special present.
Thats all for today as can’t show other makes otherwise my Daughter and Son will know what their cards look like so you will have to wait until next week…… or I might give a little preview before hand
Products for the purse are listed below. Let me know if you would like to order any of the products listed or anything else that takes your fancy just visit might stampin blog to order online or email/phone order if you want to go directly through me.
I had an order for a special wedding card….With picture frames, in an exploding box…. bearing this in mind I set to work. .. then I hit a stumbling point, I had no 12 x 12 card stock in cream….hmm… well brain had to work now:) so out came the A4 card, I adapted the box measurements and set to work…. now after working out the size that I needed I assembled it and thought about how I was going to decorate it.
The colours are cream and purple which go really well together, so putting all the finishing touches to this was really fun
Looks lovely don’t you think….. do you want to see some of the inside sections
Don’t you just love the owls, I love this punch it was one of my first punches that I bought from stampin up, I have quite a few now 🙂

I fell in love with this stamp set the moment I saw it, I love anything vintage and they go very nicely with modern medley Dsp.
I have chose this card to give as my donation card at our Regional event in Telford.
I haven’t as yet got a stock of Stampin up ribbons, but luckily I bought this basic black 1/2in scallop polka ribbon in the clearance rack.
Basic measurements on how to make this card:
Card stock: 8 1/2in x 5 1/2in (21.6cm x 14cm)
mark at each end 2 3/4in (7.3cm)
Insert card stock into the scalloped punch line the center of the scallop up with the mark and punch, repeat for the other end.
score both tags
fold one tag in, but up to score board and score at 4 1/4in (10.8cm)
Now decorate, such a simple card to make but looks fabulous as well.
Don’t forget if you would like to purchase any of these products hop over to stampin blog to order.
